IntelliStaff Medical is seeking Interventional Radiology registered nurses for a full-time permanent day shift position. This position includes immigration assistance to qualified Canadian and Mexican RNs as well as licensing services to North American nurses.
With this Interventional Radiology registered nurse position, you will work as a direct employee of the hospital and receive all the benefits that entails.
Qualifications of Interventional Radiology RN:
- Active RN license in specified state. State licensing assistance is available.
- Bachelor’s degrees in nursing.
- NCLEX for Canadian and Mexican RNs.
- BLS,PALS, and ACLS required.
- A minimum of 2 years working experience in the specialty is required.
Responsibilities and Duties of an Interventional Radiology RN:
- Care for patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic treatment and procedures in Interventional Radiology for known or suspected conditions.
- Assess and monitor patients during procedures such as neuro interventional (stroke, repair of cerebral aneurysms, etc.), general IR (peripheral vascular angiography with endovascular repair, endovascular repair of aortic aneurysms, nephrostomies, gastrostomies, biliary drainages/stent placements, etc), and bronchoscopy procedures (including endobronchial ultrasound guided biopsies, navigational bronchocopies, pulmonary valve placements, etc.)
- Administer conscious sedation and monitor patient.
- Communicate closely with all members of the medical team as well as families and patients.
